New Online Competition Record

We are pleased to announce that we now have a live, online competition record form on the Testing Page. You can enter the competitors name, tournament name, tournament date and points obtained. Please refer to the following below in regards to points. Once you fill out the data and submit, it will be logged on our server and can be viewed or printed by your coaches. This is very important in terms of rank and promotion testing. Please fill out all known competitions and points for your competitors. To reset the form, please reload the page, or press Ctl + R.

Points for entering Shiai competition are as follows:

1. Local Tournament (2 or more clubs competing):    1 point
2. Regional Tournament(State Championship, or event with 3 or more states represented):    2 points
3. International “C” Tournament (International event of limited size (i.e., Am-Can Challenge, Desert Classic, etc.):    3 points
4. National Tournaments (Masters, Seniors, Senior Divisions of Juniors, High Schools, Collegiates, etc.): 4 points

Points for winning in Shiai Competition are as follows:
1. Defeating an opponent more than 2 ranks below yours: 0 points
2. Defeating an opponent 2 ranks below yours: 1/2 point
3. Defeating an opponent 1 below yours: 1 point
4. Defeating an opponent of equal rank: 2 points
5. Defeating an opponent 1 rank higher: 3 points
6. Defeating an opponent 2 or more ranks higher: 4 points
